A morning with the Bolling Clan

Mornings hold special promise, and a new day with little ones is always something I am up for! I brought my camera along to capture these littles who are part of my family. I always love mornings with children, because they wake up ready to take on the world, and with so much energy (I wish I had that much energy) and joy. They tumble out of beds, bleary eyed and still in pajamas, and they load their arms up with toys and run down the hall. These littles make my heart skip a beat every time they round a corner and light up the room with their smiles.

If you have considered a lifestyle session like this one, but are concerned about the mess or the stress, please reach out to me anytime. I’d love to share how a lifestyle or documentary session can actually ease the anxiety of family photos with little ones, and help bring to life some of your most special moments and experiences. Many of the families I work with say it allows them to see their children in a new light, because their kiddos are having such a great time! Most importantly, it preserves sweet, simple moments of your life for years to come.

Here is a little glimpse into a morning with the Bolling clan…

I went out to photograph this man as showed me around a large yard filled with machinery that he had worked on many years prior. He knew almost every engine. He knew the ends and outs of how they worked and how to fix them when they didn't. It's a art- fixing things rather than throwing them out and buying something new. ...

Love // Paul+Tessa
Love is powerful and a commitment to say yes to love, forever, is mighty brave. This love of Tessa and Paul is a beautiful thing to be around (and not such a bad gig to get to photograph their wedding in Hawaii either)
