Sarah // Meet Bee Girl

February 28, 2014

In the last few months, I’ve  joyfully photographed some incredible women entrepreneurs.

It’s inspiring to be around women who have a vision and are brave and bold to make it happen.

Women, that are living passionately, that are fully engaged, and that are making opportunities for themselves.

We don’t get what we want just because we want it. We must dig in, do a lot of ground work, get a little organized and then launch ourselves into our cause.

Sarah Red-Laird of Bee Girl  is one of these gals.

She is one of those people that just goes out and makes it happen. She hops on planes all over the world, learning, educating and being involved in the preservation of bees. Her nonprofit engages with communities, local schools, kids and people in the community to help establish a culture of bee knowledge and involvement.
