Earlier this February, I had the opportunity to head south to New Orleans and photograph an artist that I adore both her work and who she is a person. a way rad lady.
She’s a busy bee, setting up shop before sunrise around the park at Jackson Square where thousands of visitors meander around looking at art, watching performers, standing in hour long lines for beignets at Cafe Du Monde.
and when people see Katie’s work, they stop. they smile.
